Suggest Treatment For Bleeding Keloid On The Ears

Hi my name is brian I have a big keloid on my ear as of lately the skin has been coming off the keloid has been bleeding a lot and when I sleep the skin comes off more I have not been able to work cause it bleeds for no reason what should I do should I go to the er

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..

As per your complain there is a possibility that there is infection in the keloid or there is a possibility that there has been traumatic injury to the keloid leading to inflammation and bleeding..
I would suggest you to consult a General Surgeon and get evaluated and in case if there is infection he can advise you antibiotics, anti-inflammatory painkillers and topical application of antiseptic ointment and steroids..

In case if the symptoms does not improve then he can also plan for surgical removal of the keloid under local anaesthesia and also will be followed by antibiotics and painkillers..
