Suggest Treatment For Bleeding While Pooping.

my friend has cirrohsis of the liver due to hepC and drinking and drug use. he has 40% of his liver left his kidneys are starting to fail, his hands ive noticed lately are cramping worse and worse. he says. he bleeds when he poops. the doctors in minnesota say he wont make any surgerys so no liver transplant. i just want to know how much longer he has. cause i think he knows but wont tell. i want to prepare myself and help him in anyway possible.

Hi welcome to health care magic....

Your friend having cirrhosis of liver ....
Because of the chronic liver affection functional kidney failure is there....

Moever from cirrhosis varices can occur and it can lead to rectal variceal bleeding....

So here as both liver and kidney affected prognosis is very poor....

Alcohol strickly avoided....

If esophageal variceal bleed occurs then endoscopic banding done immediately.....

Ultimate therapy for cirrhosis is liver transplantation...

If portal hypertension more beta blocker can be given or TIPSS like less invasive procedure done.

Green leafy vegetables and fruit juice taken more....
