Suggest Treatment For Blister On Scrotum

My husband had a boil type blister about the size of a grape on his scrotum. It popped and had blood, pus and dark smelling liquid in it. He said he had one before and his doctor told him it was from stress. We had been separated for a week. I am suspecting an STD or genital herpes. What you think?

Hi.
As per your case history a single boil doesnot suggest a STD.
Genital herpes has group of small blisters more common on penis and less likely on scrotum
Pus discharging lesion is most likely to be a furuncle.
Use fucidin cream thrice daily. Oral Antibiotics- anlgesics may be given for bigger lesion after consulting a dermatologist.

Thanks.
