Suggest Treatment For Bloating When Diagnosed With Hyperthyroidism

Hi i am 50 and i have hyperthyroidism. I take 88 mg levothyroxin every day. Lst tests where 6 months ago.I am overdue to see a doctor. i gain 20 pounds and feel bloating. Is it humidity?that i feel like my body is retaining water.I dont eat as much and cut down salt and sugar. What can i do to loose weight? Can you give me a solution please.I will see my doctor in a week Thank you

I can understand your concern.
First of all you are mostly having hypothyroidism, not hyperthyroidism.
You are taking thyroid hormone supplement (levothyroxin).
Your symptoms like bloating, weight gain, feeling of fluid retention in body etc are mostly due to uncontrolled hypothyroidism.
You also haven't check thyroid status since six months.
So better to consult doctor and get done thyroid function test. You will mostly need increasing dose of levothyroxin to control thyroid hormones.
