Suggest Treatment For Blocked Ear

I have a blocked ear. Have seen my doctor and was given nasal spray to help relieve pressure. I have tried over the counter from decongestant, swimmer ear drops, warm towel applied, chewing gum daily, etc. My doctor said to wait to see if it clear itself. I am starting my 4 week with dealing with this issue. Do I visit my doctor again and ask for an ENT referral. It's really effecting my hearing.

Hi...
Welcome to healthcare magic...
I had gone through your questions...I know its very uncomfortable feeling...In my experience with this kind of symptoms I have successfully treated many...I was your treating doctor..along with nasal spray... I also advice tablet levocetrizine with phenylephrine once at night after food for 14 days...and the very important part of my treatment regimen is Valsalva maneuver.. You have to pinch and close your nose and close the mouth and the same time blow air ..so you can hear a pop up in ear..this clear the fluid in the ear and release the block...do this 6 to 8 times...you will feel better...hope have answered your question.. Any further questions am happy to help you...wish you a good health...
