Suggest Treatment For Blocked Nose, Cold And Cough

Hi , i currently have a pretty bad cold, consisting of the standard, blocked nose and plenty of coughing, (which I can handle) but I have an unbearable pain around my right armpit and most areas above the right rib cage that is generally ser off from my coughing, breathing and movement of my right arm. General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms seem to be related to an upper respiratory tract infection. I suggest using anti-inflammatory medication such as Acetominophen three times a day.

I also recommend to drink liquids and rest. If the symptoms continue, it might be bronchitis, so I suggest to use a cycle of antibiotics such as Azithromycin for three days.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
