Suggest Treatment For Blocked Nose In Infants
Hi my 4 month old baby has very loud breathing and it s because his nose sounds blocked all the time since he was born really it wakes him up and he also gets frights while sleeping due to his nose causing him problems should I go further about this I brought him to the doctor only the only day as he has very high temp 39.9 for 3 days and was told it was bronculitise can u maybe give me some answers

Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like allergies , hay fever , nasal polyps , chemical exposures , sinusitis , tumors and a deviated septum . I would suggest you to consult pediatrician for proper examination . Doctor may order take history , nasal endoscopy , viral culture test and blood tests . Doctor may prescribe antibacterial or anti viral depending upon the diagnosis along with decongestant or expectorant . Doctor may also prescribe anti allergic or recommend surgery in case of deviated nasal septum or nasal polyp . For now apply warm compresses on nose , keep head elevated while sleeping .
