hi doc.. I have phlem in my chest and also feel that my nostrils are blocked, though not completely. feeling very uneasy and restless. I also have a cough with ejection of phlem and possibly a sore throat too. what do I do? will taking sinarest help me? if yes how many tablets do I take in one day?
Hi.. Welcome to healthcare magic. I had gone through your question. This could be both upper and lower respiratory tract infection. Regarding your question about sinarest take for symptomatic relief. That is when ever required. See that there should be 6 to 8 hours gap between doses. I recommend the following. 1) A course of antibiotics tab azithromycin 500 mg once daily for three days. 2) steam inhalation to relieve nasal congestion. 3) oxymetazoline nasal drops for nasal block. Don't use continuously for more than 7 days. 4) Expectorant cough syrup.Bricarex. You will be fine. Wish you a good health.
