I am a 34 year old female i wear 16 stone and have been diagnosed with blocked tubes. I am in the process of undergoing ICSI and was told that I would have to have a hystercopy to scrape the lining of the womb and a cycst aspiration for 12 mm cycst on left ovary, prior to starting treatment. Is this neccessary.
Yes it is, and it is for the best. The scrapping of the lining allows for increased chances of implantation once fertilization has occured, and the cyst aspiration gives your ovary a better chance at doing what is expected of it.
Best wishes.
