Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
Treatment of leukemia depends on type and stage of leukemia. Imatinib mercilate is useful only in chronic myeloid leukemia. It is not useful in acute myeloid or lymphoid leukemia. Chemotherapy or bone marrow transplantation is the treatment of choice . consult you doctor and take treatment accordingly.

Hope I have answered your question, if you have any doubts then contact me at bit.ly/Drsanghvihardik, I will be happy to answer you.
