Suggest Treatment For Blood In Stool Of A New Born Infant
Hi, i just had my son s stool examined and results are: yeast cells- rare, fat globules- few, bacteria- many, and no ova or intestinal parasite seen. My son will turn 1 month old in 3 days. What does this result mean? Do i need to do something? Is my son having troubled? We found blood on his poop. After he poop, there is this watery blood coming out that we decided to have his poop examined. Asking for your immediate response. Thanks!
Understanding your concern. As per your query you infant has blood in stool. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like infection , food reaction or other problems like colitis. Give child plenty of fluids. Avoid giving any outside food to child. Maintain complete hygiene. I would suggest you to consult pediatrician for proper examination . Doctor may order stool test along with taking history . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics along with anti inflammatory . Doctor may also prescribe particular diet .
