Suggest Treatment For Blood In The Mouth Of A Child

last month we woke to find that our 2 month old had blood in her mouth.. when i took her to the ER they said she had a bunch of white bumps in her mouth... when they examined her further they said that the base of her tongue looked shredded... no one seems to have an explanation for us and we are worried that it will happen again and we might lose her this time.. shes a very slow drinker.. cant keep the pacifier in her mouth.. and had breathing problems at birth to where she was put on a monitor.. please help me!
