Suggest Treatment For Bloodshot Eyes

My right eye has been bloodshot for a few days, and hasn't responded to eye-drops, which normally work. There's a pronounced patch of red above and below the iris, as if the ball has hemmoraged. I'm in no pain, my regular blood pressure is good, and my vision remains fine.

I sleep on my right side most of a night, and this a.m. I noticed I'm putting pressure on the socket via the pillow. Could this be a cause?

I've had this condition in the past, but it's always gone away in a few days. Should I be concerned? Thanks!

Hello
It seems from the history that you are having redness of eyes following a probable pressure over the eye socket by pillow while sleeping.
This indicates subconjunctival hemorrhage which is collection of blood under the conjunctiva.
It is a harmless condition and it will resolve by 3-4 weeks and no treatment is necessary for this condition.
Hence no need to worry.

Thank you
