Suggest Treatment For Blurred Vision And Flashes Of Light Due To Dilation Drops

This was the first time I went to an eye doctor. He put so many dilation drops in my eyes, because he said my eyes were not normal, one of a child s eyes, of a 5 or 6 year old He kept putting medicine in them. Afterwards they turned purple the next day... He had kept me for hours instead of just a normal visit time and wanted other doctors and nurses to look at my eyes.. Now, I have problems with blurriness, confusion, eyes tearing up, seeing glowing things from my Peripheral vision.. Huge flashes of light, it can be scary. My eyes sometimes still look purple at times, this was over roughly 6 months ago/December 2013. Are my eyes going to be okay?

Ophthalmologist 's  Response
Hello
It seems from the history that you are having symptoms of flashes of light. These symptoms are not related to use of dilatation eye drops. But these may be related to refractive error and posterior segment problems like retinal degenerations, vitreoretinal traction.
Hence this requires evaluation by ophthalmologist for examination by fundoscopy to rule out any of the above mentioned conditions and treatment accordingly.

Thank you
