Suggest Treatment For Blurry Vision Due To Blocked Blood Vessel In The Eye

My ophthalmologist said i have a blocked blood vessel. I started seen visual disturbances 3 weeks ago. He said i have probably already suffered some permanent vision loss in my right eye. I have high blood pressure. He has referred me to a retinal specialist. Even when using my 3.25 eyeglasses, I see blurry. What are the treatment options for this condition?

Ophthalmologist 's  Response
Hi,

Blood pressure can cause a myriad of problems in the retina. If it is a brvo or crvo we can treat it so some extent but if its an artery occlusion then I am sorry we can't. Please see a retinal specialist again.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Harshita, Ophthalmologist
