Suggest Treatment For Bowel Incontinence

Recently I am unable to hold my stool till I reach the bathroom. what type of tests do I need to have done to determine what is wrong. I recently had CT of abdominal area and also a MRI to which I was told that there seemed to be nothing showing that would indicate that the problem comes from mesh that was put in to repair a hernia. What do you think? YYYY@YYYY .

Hello,

If CT scan and MRI suggest normal hernia mesh. so no problem in that. Stool inconvenience may be related to bowel habits.

You should consume more fibres in your diet and reduce spicy food intake. Eat green leafy vegetables and fruits regularly. Have endoscopy of bowel from known gastrologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
