Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello, my mom had a headache last week (severe) and she was dizzy. We took her to ER. They did CT and MRI. She has a 2mm aneurysm in brain, The doctor said, she should keep an eye on it. They send us back to home. This week she still feels very dizzy, shaky and tired all the time. She just wants to stay in bed. I am very worried about her. Do you think, it could be something more serous? She also had pressure in her ear at one point but right now no headache or ear pressure.
Hello dear welcome to HealthcareMagic Regarding your mother diagnosed with brain Aneurysm from a CT scan with associated dizziness weakness I am suggesting that you will have to schedule an appointment with a neurosurgeon for possible invasive surgical procedure to avoid a complication called subarachnoid hemorrhage and possible hemorrhagic stroke
Is she hypertensive? Please follow up with her blood pressure regularly
I hope this helps Regards
