Suggest Treatment For Breast Cancer

I have recently had surgery for breast cancer, stage 1..all gone. am 78 yrs old.. they gave me letrozole, got upper respiratory infections.. so not want to give me tamoxifin,, also preventative Plavix,,d ue to carotid artery 49% I also take Prilosec which I need , works very well for me... and synthroid,, do you think the cancer drug is a bit overkill, considering, im cancer free? also, any interactions I should be concerned about ?
