Suggest Treatment For Breathing Difficulties And Chronic Cough

Hi doctor ,my mum have breathing difficulties even she take inhalers it doesn t work and some times very severe and have to take her to emergency ,breethlessness is all day through . We really don t know how to handle her condition. And also she coughs a lot. Pl let us have suggestions

Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, in this case underlying cause of breathlessness need to be ruled out, cardiac asthma need to be ruled out first, and second it could be allergic asthma or asthma due to lung condition (Bronchitis COPD) in my opinion better to differentiate the underlying condition then it would be easy to managed this, hope this information helps, (Bronchodilator can be used and best would be Etiophylline can be tired what ever the etiology )
