Suggest Treatment For Breathing Difficulty While Recovering From Pneumonia
hello, I have been getting over pneumonia from thanksgiving...new xray shows lungs are healing..but I developed a severe respitory infection, gone to the doctor, it is viral, my issue is breathing...I have difficulty breathing in any position except sitting up, I have had blood test to check for congestive heart but everything is fine, ekg is fine, but I am in day 5 with breathing issues and walking any distance is exhausting...
As you said you have hot pneumonia and I assume you are taking medication as prescribed do the following it will help you in breathing 1.Take steam inhalation thrice a day which will help to clear up the respiratory tracts 2. Make sure you are taking proper medications as pneumonia is a life threatening condition you can't just ignore it for that you better check up with your doctor as a follow up 3 . Do not try to do stenous work as respiratory accessory muscles get exhausted. 4.Follow up
Thanks
Regards Dr Varun
