Suggest Treatment For Breathlessness And Bloated Stomach

Started off feeling short of breath and bloated. Constantly burping and passing gas. I ve been put in a diet where I have to drink a full cup of prune juice a day and I m not going to lie I ve been eating a lot or spicy and acidic foods. Could this just be my acid reflux flaring up again? I took a few tums and a Zantac and I m feeling quite a bit better.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Diet should be healthy veggies, non-spicy, simple liquids, khichdi, for a day or more is enough to get rest to your system as you have already taken Zentac and other drugs! Do some yoga and pranayama, it is good to prolong any complications! If shortness of breath prolongs, get to the ER please.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sunny Madar, General & Family Physician
