Hi Doctor, I feel breathless at night and because of which i have to get up in the middle of night and sit up, and now it is having in the day as well, i am feeling that i am unable to breath properly. if i drink a lot of water i feel better, but not that great though. what should i do? i meditate for 35-40 mins daily and still this is happening to me.
Noted your history of breathless that started in the night to start with and now in day time too. feels better on drinking a lot of water. The commonest causes of such symptoms are as follows: Bronchial asthma. Cardiac asthma wherein the basic cause remains with the heart ailment. This can be diagnosed by the following ways: Consult your Doctor and ask for an actual clinical examination, auscultation of heart and lungs will give clinical diagnosis to be supported by the following tests: Heart evaluation by EKG, echography and other tests. Pulmonary function tests. Relevant other investigations to get to the correct diagnosis and hence have a proper management.
