Suggest Treatment For Brittle,white Spots And Weakness Of Nails

I have been taking tamoxifin for almost 5 yrs. over the past yr my nails have become weak,brittle,white spots and soft. I started taking biotin about 3 months ago but haven t noticed changes. I am 58 yrs old. Can you suggest something I am embarrassed because I always had beautiful nails that grew and were strong.

Hi.
As per your case history you may be having physiological white spots on nails or Brittle nails due to multivitamin deficiency.

My treatment advice is -
1. Don't worry. It is curable disease.
2. Take balanced diet full of green leafy vegetables and milk
3.Take vitamin b 12 supplement 1500mcg daily once and vitamin d3 once a week.
4. Biotin is not of much need in your condition. So no need of it.
