Suggest Treatment For Broken Toe

Broken my baby toe 4 weeks ago. I still cannot wear closed shoes, or sandals, very painful, getting a burning sensation and toe is still swollen, still cannot put too much weight or pressure on toe. Did the tape, rest, and ice, should I have it checked?
