I would advise in such a patient the following: Clinical evaluation and examination by an ENT. CT scan of the sinuses and the chest urgently to know the level of infection. Gram staining, culture and sensitivity of the secretions from the nose and sputum. Broad spectrum antibiotics, anti-inflammatory, nasal decongestants, symptomatic and supportive treatment.
