More than a year ago, I got sick a bad cold during winter. I had bronchitis, and strep throat. I never went to see a doctor, I had no health insurance, I lost my job. A friend of mine brought some antibiotics from my country, that are sold over the counter. I took it for 10 days. Then right after I got strep throat, too painful, and a bad cough. I bought Robitusinn over the counter. However still coughing. After two months later I started feeling as if something is stuck in my throat, perhaps I got a lump for my persistent bad coughing. I sing a lot, since I write songs, and then I singing them. Sometimes make cough if I sing too much, or talking too much. Always I feel that thing in my throat, I am scared to see a doctor, since I know someone that his throat was practically deformed by a doctor he lose his voice for ever. I am wondering if going to the right otolaryngologist may help me to fix my problem without risking my voice? Thank you
