Suggest Treatment For Brown Spots On Side Of Penis Head

I have recently noticed brown spots on the sides of my penis head. they are not raised, I have not discharge, bumps, rashes, or sores. they have been there for a few months. in the last week I have noticed a irritation on the head of my penis. it feels like stinging and only on the head. I have no burning or pain urinating. It really starts stinging after sex with or without a condom.

Sexologist 's  Response
Hi,

If you had unprotected sex - need to rule out sexually transmitted infection. It can be due to herpes / syphilis - doing a sexually transmitted infection disease panel of investigation can help.

If not, it can be due to bacterial / fungal infection. Local application of antibiotics / antifungal can help you. Doing a urine culture - can help diagnose urinary tract infection.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. S. R. Raveendran, Sexologist
