Suggest Treatment For Brown Vaginal Discharge During Pregnancy

HI DOCTOR MY SISTER IS 30 YEARS OLD AND SHE IS IN HER THIRD MONTH OF PREGNANCY AND 3 WEEKS BEFORE SHE HAS A RED HEAVY BLEEDING. WHEN SHE WENT TO DOCTOR THEY SAID THAT EVERY THING IS OK TILL YOU DO NOT HAVE BROWN DISCHARGE BUT SINCE ONE WEEK SHE IS HAVING BROWN DISCHARGE WHEN SHE GOES FOR MOTION OR URINE , BUT DOCTOR HAS TAKEN ULTRASOUND AND SAID BABY IS ALRIGHT AND YOU JUST HAVE REST. THIS IS HER SECOND CHILD AND FIRST ONE WAS WITH CESAREAN. JUST TELL ME DOCTOR IS EVERYTHING OK WITH HER?

Hello dear,I understand your concern.In my opinion as the ultrasound is normal the placental causes of bleeding is ruled out.So the bleeding might be cervical in origin due to erosion or varicosities or polyps.
Take adequate iron rich diet and iron supplements to counteract the anaemia caused due to bleeding.Dont worry it might not interfere with delivery.
Take rest and intercourse should be avoided.
