Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
a few weeks back at a soccer tournament i got cleated really bad in the shin. it was bruised and broke skin. i assumed it would go away because i get all sorts of bruises during soccer. to this day i still have a dent in my leg. it doesnt hurt so i just left it alone. yesterday i ran into my dad w that shin and it hurt really bad. now i can move something in my shin. i dont know what it is and if i should go get it checked out
It is nothing but a collection of blood underneath the skin. It is quite common after blunt trauma and will settle by itself. If symptoms persist better to consult a physician and get evaluated.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
