Suggest Treatment For Bruised Scab Near The Navel Area

I fell onto a bush and received a blunt trauma the size of a golf ball on the left side of my abdomen at the level of my belly button. I did not pierced my skin but have a rugburn type scab and 1 above it it feels like a hard lump slightly tender to the touch and my skin is bruised around that area. Is it just a bruise or could it be an hernia of the abdomen?

I have gone through your question and understand your concern. Undergo ultrasound abdomen and pelvis to rule out internal injury to organs. Pain ,scab and tenderness will subside on its own in few weeks if no internal injury is diagnosed. After getting ultrasound scan done write to us here at HCM or consult your local doctor. For the scab, keep the bruise clean using antiseptics like betadine liquid and apply Neosporin powder. Leave the wound uncovered and wear lose clothing to avoid further irritation. Hope your concern is answered. Thank You.
