Suggest Treatment For Bruises And Numbness On The Shin

1 week ago I was kicked by another horse while on my own horse, I took a good blow to my shin, lots of bruising, a 1 inch gash at point of contact and I have a knot the size of a golf ball at point of contact, also some numbness. Directly above point of contact is still quite sore to the touch and "burns" when I push lightly on it or slightly bump it. I am starting to wonder if maybe a piece of shin bone chipped off and got pushed up.
