My Dear
The bruise and the bump that you git as a result of injury is due to oozing of blood and soft tissue injury. In normal course it should go away gradually but since it is hurting you a lot, I am inclined to suggest taking anti inflammatory medication like Ibuporofen, but please do take the medicine after food.It should be alright pretty soon. From my experience I can say that you need not get any investigation done and wait a while.
All the best for your early recovery
