Suggest Treatment For Bruises On The Back

I have just noticed that I have a bunch of little bruises on my back that are in a pattern. Each bruise is a small diamond and is about a quarter of a centimeter thick and they are equally spaced a part. I have not sat against anything that would have imprinted this on my back. What is happening to me?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

If the bruises show a certain pattern they may be related to a certain local trauma and many times the patients are not aware of the trauma itself.
I would advise you to have a look at the lesions and if they do not fade in 1-2 weeks or new bruises come up you will need to see your doctor. In this case, you will need some blood tests such as CBC, ERS, ALT, AST, albumin level in the blood, bleeding time, coagulation time, platelet count, etc.

I hope this answers your query. I remain at your disposal in case further medical assistance is needed.

Regards,
