Suggest Treatment For Bruises On The Knuckles Post An Accident

2 days ago I punched a wall out of anger. Felt a crack in my fingers and wrist. I have been icing it and it s still swollen (knuckles and part of hand). I have bruises on my knuckles and hand. I have pain in the palm of my hand, outer side of my hand, to my fingertips to elbow. I can not grab anything with that hand without wanting to scream in pain. Should I be worried about a break/ fracture? I thought it was ok so the first day I tried to use it as much but it just got worse.

Hello,

According to history, you should do an X-ray of the affected area to exclude a fracture. Please talk to your doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Jnikolla, Pulmonologist
