Hi
Multiple uterine fibroids is not always an emergency if it is not symptomatic. The delay to start management depends on the intensity of the symptoms.Symptomatic fibroid are to be managed immediately especially when you present with life-threatening symptoms like bleeding. If the fibroids are asymptomatic, management can be delayed.I your case, i see the fibroids being symptomatic already and waiting for two weeks for your Gynecologist will mean two weeks of pain and discomfort.I will ask you to auto-evaluate your symptoms and judge if to wait for your Gynecologist and if the symptoms suddenly become too intense, you see another Gynecologist.
Hope my answer will help you
Best regards
