Suggest Treatment For Bullous Pemphigoid

I have Bullous Pemphigoid i have had 4 infusions within the past 6 mo on steroids but still itch bad at times i think i need more infusions because i get to clearing up but it dont last if i had more infusions i think it would i had horible sores and now cleared up but the itching is getting out of control again and im not sure what to do i havent had a treatment sense the 1st part of dec do you have any suggestion i think i need to find another doctor for 2nd opinion on my treatment i also have IBD

Dear

You should have been taking low dose steroids and may be some anti allergics like cetirizine too to take care of the problem. Itching is suggestive of a likely fresh eruption. Please see your dermatologist and get adequate treatment.You seem to be undergoing steroid withdrawal.

You need no investigations unless you run risk due to steroids and in all probability the present itching will be relieved by anti allergics. Best of everything
