Suggest Treatment For Bump Behind The Ear Of A Child

My daughter has a bump behind one ear. Hard bone feel to it. Yesterday she had dried blood on the edge of that ear. As if she was bitten by something. That ear also feels warm to the touch. No other symptoms. Should I have her checked? Should I give a antihistamine?

Hi,

It can be due to lymph node enlargement or infection. You can take antibiotics. If not cured, then you must take biopsy.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. S. R. Raveendran, Sexologist
