Suggest Treatment For Bump On The Head Caused By Injury

I was getting out of the passenger door of a car and turned around (facing car) and the corner of the car door hit the back of my head. It really hurt and now there is a tender knot on that part and it hurts - like a dull pain. Should I be worried, or get it checked out?

Hi

You seem to have developed a hematoma or a localised collection of blood due to the trauma .
Avoid touching or rubbing the area .
Oral vitamin c can help in early resolution of the hematoma .
You can see a nearby doctor if it is too painful or tends to persist.
