Hello,
Thanks for the query.
I have gone through your short description and I can understand your concerns.
The short history you have described suggest the possibility of a harmless condition called "vaginal skin tag". but we have to rule out other conditions like i "molluscum" and genital
warts.
Vaginal
skin tags are quite common and they are benign(non cancerous) and nothing to worry in it.
I suggest you to consult a gynecologist and get the following things done:-
1.get a "speculum" examination (visual examination of your vagina) done to make a diagnosis. An experienced gynaecologist can make a spot diagnosis by just looking at it.
2.The discharge has to be sent for culture to look for any associated
fungal infection.
3.Once the diagnosis of skin tags are confirmed you can go for
cryotherapy or surgical excision. This is not an emergency and you can wait for spontaneous remission which is seen in some cases.
The white discharge most probably due to some fungal infection and most often unrelated to those skin tags and you can use topical "clotrimazole" creams for that.
Molluscum and genital wart are contagious so it would be better to practice
safe sex until a diagnosis confirmed and you are free of illness.
Hope i have answered your query.
Wishing you good health.
Regards.
