Suggest Treatment For Bumps On Arms And Lower Legs

I have miniscule invisible bumps on my arms and lower legs that itch terribly. You can t see them at all. To the touch, it feels like chicken skin or goose bumps. I have had it since June 13th and it is not getting better. The night before it began, I watered my tomato and cucumber plants, but don t recall getting into any other plants. I have been taking Benadryl and using hydrocortisone.

1. Since there is history of gardening prior to onset of infection thus consult a Dermatologist to exclude 'sporotrichosis' [job related with plants/gardener] where they can inhale the spores of the fungus.

2. other conditions which can be included in differential diagnosis include
. eczematous disease [allergic/atopic dermatitis] and make sure due to constant itching/scratching there is no breakage in skin resulting in any overlying infection.

3. apply cold compress over the extremities
. avoid excess heat/dryness and undue stress.
. use a bland hypoallergenic soap
. Iodized salt sprinkled on gauze pad and then placing it on the infected part is helpful
