General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and welcome.

Boils in the axillary region are indeed common. Most of the times it is due to poor hygiene (e.g. hidradenitis suppurativa), infections, shaving or hair removal acquired irritation to the hair follicles, irritation from chemicals in deodorants or perfume, etc.

The treatment for them would be to just let them be, keep the region clean and dry, do not shave or scrub the region, use a mild soap and continue with the warm compresses to thr region. Do not try to pop them and try your best to be in comfortable temperature at all times, they are self-resolving and will soon subside on their own.

Best wishes.
