Suggest Treatment For Burning Feeling And Tightness In Chest After Inhaling Bleach

I poured too much bleach in my toilet and inhaled it. My eyes started watering my nose and chest burning and my chest became tight. I became slightly disoriented. My head is killing me and my chest is still tight about an hour after. Should I do anything else besides getting fresh air?

Hello

Inhaling a toxin like bleach can cause a chemical burn in the respiratory tract. Time should heal it ok. Just avoid any further toxins and it should heal.

Bleach is a respiratory irritant. It releases chlorine gas at the cell level. Chlorine gas is a direct cell toxin. It will cause coughing can cause chest pain and can cause fluid accumulation in the lungs.

use plenty of ventilaton.

you have done the primary measures.wait for sometime it will be alright.

if the problem persist then i would advice you to visit a doctor.

Hope this answer helps
