I got my underarms waxed for the first time it was extremely painful it felt like she was taking layers of my skin off. It burned a lot and now have red patches that turned dark and still have some redness. I ve been covering my them with extra virgin coconut oil and olive oil afraid they will get even darker. Hi!! This happened because of trauma caused by pulling of hair from the roots. Avoid using soap on this area and use a good moisturizing cream over the area frequently and liberally. Along with this use a mild steroid like cortisone on the affected area twice daily. This will help in resolving your redness as well as dark areas..Wish you speedy recovery.
