Suggest Treatment For Burning Sensation And Throbbing Pain On The Right Hand
Hi. I m 61 yr old female with heart problems and fibromyalgia. Today, while working in the yard, I experienced a burning, throbbing pain on top of my right hand. It was quite intense (5-6) and continued all day. It also started radiating along my index finger and toward my wrist. I even felt pain that was in sync with the throbbing in my upper arm. Took Tylenol, no help. Took tramadol, very little change. Seven hours later and it still hurts, but not as intense. Is this nerve?

You should visit an orthopaedic surgeon as it is dequervin tendosynovitis. It is inflammation thickening of digit tendons. For pain, you may take a painkiller like Ibuprofen or Diclofenac.
