Suggest Treatment For Burning Sensation Caused During Urination

Hi please help my brother feel burning sensation in tip of his urine passing area.. he went to doctor they ask to take test and scan.. they mentioned multifocal narrowing of ureters both sides, and in another scan mild dilation of left renal pelvis... what it is please answer if needed I post reports too... Pls reply doctor..

Hi,

These symptoms are suggestive of uroinfection and this is common in your age and usually is manifested with pain during urination, fever and changes in urination frequency. Also, blood traces may be present in urine which can have odour or color change. Other common causes are urinary stones.

Diagnosis is established by doing urine analysis and urinoculture and after this antibiotic treatment may be started if necessary. If there is a negative urine analysis then you should do an ultrasound of kidneys to check for stones. You should drink plenty of fluids and take raspberry tea or juice to promote urination.
