Hello, I ve been suffering from burning and irritated eyes for the past 6 months. Been to several opthalmologists but no success. They dont seem to find anything wrong with my eyes. According to them its allergies. My eyes burn most of the day and turn red too. Just recently i had a few blood tests done. It shows increase in IGE levels. Immunoglobin Ige, SERUM 77.80 (normal range Which suggests that i have allergies and that is what is causing the burning. I also get white powdery patches on my body. There is nasal congestion most of the time. And i also get migraine headaches. All of these have been past several months. One of the nostrils is blocked. Its almost a year now and nothing seems to work. Allopathic antihistamine medicines as well as drops are not working at all. Will be glad if replied.
Hello I reviewed your history. The symptoms and test reports suggest allergic condition of the eyes. The allergic conditions usually require treatment for a long time. Along with antihistamines and anti allergic drugs need to avoid allergens. During acute phase of allergy and in non responding cases steroid eye drops are required. Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination to assess the severity and treatment accordingly.
Thank you
