Suggest Treatment For Burning Sensation In The Anus Caused By Haemorrhoids
Yes, not sure of what is happening...about a month ago I had an anal fissure...dr. gave med and it seemed to have gone, but last few days, there is so much burning, in the anal area, even to the point I can t even walk or sit. My wife says there are no external signs of hemorrhoids which I had when I had the fissure, but there is a tiny sac at the end of my anal area. can you help
In the case of anal fissure, adjacent to the fissure, sac-like swelling can appear.
Healing of the fissure will reduce the swelling. Increase fiber content in your diet, use stool softener and local hemorrhoidal or anesthetic gel for quicker relief.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Saranya Ramadoss, General & Family Physician
