General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

The pain in your case may be due to a few reasons. It may be due to the osteoarthritis or gout or due to diabetic neuropathy. The burning sensation points more towards a diagnosis of diabetic neuropathy. You should get your self assessed by a physician. If the diagnosis is confirmed then you may have to take Gabapentin for a few months. Meanwhile you can start taking a supplement tab neurobionforte which will help to alleviate the symptoms.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
