General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
Read and understood your problem.
Your main concern is burning throat and spit all the time due to tonsillitis and you have burning sensation that is suggestive to have GERD.
I would advise you the following:
PPI like Omeprazole
Antacid
Domperidone
Proper antibiotics and
No steroids as they increase acidity.
Upper GI endoscopy if required.
Once the basic problem gets solved, the secondary problems get solved on its own.
I hope this answer helps you.
