Suggest Treatment For Callous Formation On Fingers

I have callouses with tiny brown dots forming on my thumb, middle finger, pinky, and one palm. They originally started on my left middle finger but has spred to other fingers on both hands. They started showing up about 2 weeks ago. Anti fungal cream and lotion do not help. Picking them only causes the callous to get bigger. Help!

hello and welcome to HCM
From your description you may have developed viral warts, since they are spreading and also have spots on them.
Calluses and corns generally do not spread like this and appear on pressure points.
Do note that they can spread further and also with contact to others, usually slowly.
You may apply a Duofilm lotion (salicylic and lactic acid )solution only over the rough areas at night. Soaking in warm water for ten mins before application helps better.Be careful not to apply on other areas.Use the tip provided and apply a layer of Vaseline on surrounding areas to prevent contact with solution. They will take a few weeks to clear.
If they persist or seem like an allergic spreading rash etc,do consult a dermatologist to confirm and also to check for other treatment options such as cauterization.
Hope this helps.
